This kneehole desk from the Regency period has many desirable features. The top is inlaid with four hand cut sheepskin gold embossed skivers. Each skiver bordered by mahogany cross-banding with the central panel raising to create an adjustable writing surface.
Complimenting the top are eight dovetailed oak lined drawers, each furnished with handmade solid brass swan neck handles. Another appealing feature of this 200 year old antique is the cabinet makers attention to the back of the desk, this has also been finished in mahogany and polished allowing the desk to be used in an open home or office environment.
